Guide to Prince Court

Our mission is to make your stay comfortable and pleasant by providing professional and friendly in-house service. When you step into Prince Court, we want you to feel at home, away from home.

Feeling better starts with a warm welcome.

The admission counter is open daily from 7.00am to 9.00pm and is located at the reception area at the Main Atrium on Level 1.

Outside of these hours, you may use the admissions counter at the 24-hour Emergency Department, located at Level 1 of the South Wing.

For registration, please bring along:

  • Your admission letter from your consultant
  • NRIC, or passport if you are not a Malaysian citizen
  • If you are registering your child, his/her birth certificate, or MyKid if under 12 years
  • Your guarantee letter or insurance card, if applicable
Front lobby in a hospital

You will just need to bring some comfortable attire, your existing medication if any, as well as your preferred reading materials.

For your comfort and convenience, we provide hairdryers, bath robes and slippers and all of our rooms are equipped with satellite television and free Wi-Fi access.

You are strongly advised NOT to bring jewellery, excessive cash or electrical appliances such as electric kettle / cooker / fans.

Visitor’s Policy

Inpatient Ward

Visiting Hours: 10AM - 10PM.

Paediatrics Ward Visiting Hours: 10AM - 8PM for 6A, 6B, 6C and 6D.

We recommend that children under 12 years old avoid visiting the Inpatient Wards, but we understand that parents may choose to bring their children at their own discretion and responsibility.


ICU / HDU / Burns Unit

Visiting Hours: 12PM - 2PM and 6PM - 8PM.

We kindly request that children under 12 years old refrain from entering the Critical Care Unit, except in special circumstances such as compassionate grounds, critical illness, or DNR situations.

Additionally, we ask all visitors to kindly observe the guidelines set by the Malaysia Ministry of Health.

Food & Beverage

Just as we provide the best care during your stay at Prince Court, our food is thoughtfully prepared to enhance your dining experience and recovery.

Our award-winning chefs are here to serve you food, equivalent to the standards of a 5-star hotel. Your stay with us includes breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner.

If you have specific dietary needs, please inform our admissions team upon check-in. Our in-house dietician will also be on hand to offer dietary advice and we also offer À la carte room service for you and your guests.

Important Reminders

General Reminders

  • For the comfort and safety of our patients, guests and staff, Prince Court has been designated as a non-smoking facility.
  • Food and consumables with strong aromas, such as durians, are not allowed in the medical centre.
  • Please do not leave children alone or unattended at any time.
  • Upon checking out, please ensure that you have not left any personal belongings behind.

Intensive Care Unit Precautions

  • Children are discouraged from entering the intensive care units. Please check with your nurse whether visiting can be allowed.
  • Visiting privileges may be temporarily suspended depending on the patient's condition.
  • Flowers are not allowed in the intensive care units.
  • Patients are only allowed two visitors at any one time.
  • Visitors with any recent illnesses/vaccinations are to consult the nurse before entering the unit.

Customer Services

Concierge & Valet Service

Located at the main entrance, our staff can arrange travel, transportation, or hotel reservations. They also offer firsthand knowledge about Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia.

Customer Relations Officers

Our CROs assist guests with queries, help navigate departments, and visit in-patients to ensure comfort. Interpretation services are also available upon request.

Contact Centre

Our Contact Centre operates 24 hours for telephone enquiries and scheduling appointments. Dial 0 from your room telephone for assistance.

Muslim Prayer Room

Our surau (prayer room) is located at level 3, accommodating up to 80 people, complete with a dedicated space for the convenience of our female patients.

Discharge Process

Check out time is 12:00 noon. A ½ day room fee applies thereafter, subject to room availability.

The FULL bill must be settled before discharge. Insured patients have the option to pay a deposit if leaving before the final guarantee letter is issued.

Financial Arrangements

Upon confirmation of admission, verify the estimated cost with the attending doctor. Cash, bank draft, and major credit cards are accepted. We do NOT accept personal cheques.

Deposit Collection

A deposit is required for Inpatient, Outpatient Specialist, and Emergency services. Amounts vary by service type and financial arrangement.

Pricing & Estimates

We provide price estimates for common tests and surgeries. Since all charges cannot be anticipated, final invoices may differ from estimates.

Our Financial Counsellors will contact you via telephone at least one day before admission to provide counsel and confirm your financial arrangement. They are also reachable via the General Line.
