Why should you choose Prince Court Maternity Services?

Highly Skilled, Multi-disciplinary Team and Advanced Facilities for You and Your Baby’s Care

At Prince Court Medical Centre, we are committed to providing the highest level of maternity care to our patients. Every year, we serve nearly 5000 women and their babies during pregnancy, labour, birth, and the postpartum period. Our team of specialists is well-equipped to handle women with complex needs, including those with high blood pressure, diabetes, multiple babies, or who are birthing prematurely or late in pregnancy. We are equipped with advanced surgical and pain relief facilities that can effectively manage any unforeseen emergency situations.

We believe that the key to providing excellent care for your newborn is having a highly skilled team of medical professionals and state-of-the-art facilities. That's why we have a Special Care Nursery (SCN) and a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), both fully equipped to handle any emergency that may arise. Our team of paediatric specialists and subspecialists includes neonatologists, paediatric geneticists, paediatric neurologists, paediatric cardiologists, and paediatric surgeons, among others. With their expertise and dedication, you can be rest assured that your baby is in good hands.

Constant Monitoring of Your Baby's Safety

Prince Court Medical Centre utilises a heart rate Cardiotocography (CTG) system that is connected to the doctor's phone to constantly monitor the baby's condition during labour. This advanced system allows our experienced medical team to monitor the CTG machine for any signs of distress in the baby's heart rate or the mother's contractions. If there is any indication of fetal distress, the medical team is immediately notified through their mobile devices, enabling them to take prompt action to address the situation.

In addition, the innovative RFID tagging system is a feature that enhances the safety and security of newborns at Prince Court Medical Centre. Using radio frequency identification, the system tracks the location of the baby in real-time, ensuring that the baby is always within designated safe zones. In case of any deviation from the norm or if the baby moves out of the safe zone, the system immediately alerts the medical team.

This technology is particularly useful for premature babies who require close monitoring and care, allowing the medical team to keep a close watch on the baby's location and condition, ensuring timely intervention in case of any emergency. Moreover, the RFID tagging system provides peace of mind for parents, as you can be assured that your newborn is always under constant monitoring and within safe zones.
