  • Polysomnography or Sleep Study is a test used to diagnose sleep disorders. Polysomnography records your brain waves, the oxygen level in your blood, heart rate and breathing as well as eye and leg movements during the study. Polysomnography is commonly used to diagnose obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS).

    • Sleep-related seizure disorders
    • Periodic limb movement disorder or restless leg syndrome, which involves uncontrolled flexing and extension of the legs while asleep
    • REM sleep behavior disorder, which involves acting out dreams while asleep
    • Chronic insomnia, which involves having difficulty falling asleep or remaining asleep
