  • Our in-house Andrology and Embryology laboratories are equipped with advanced equipment such ICSI machines with lasers, personalized incubator chambers for egg-embryo cultures and heated-stage laminar flows.

We have complete fertility procedure to suit each patients according to their requirements and needs. These includes:

  1. In vitro Fertilization (IVF) or Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI)
    • IVF or ICSI are a four-stage process which includes ovarian stimulation, monitoring, and ovulation triggering; egg retrieval or ovum pick-up (OPU), fertilisation, and embryo transfer.
    • In an IVF cycle, eggs and sperm are collected and placed together in a dish to fertilise. The embryos which derived from the successful fertilisation will be chosen and transferred into woman’s uterus. The potential surplus embryos can be kept frozen for future use.
    • ICSI is a procedure where a single sperm is injected directly into each egg. ICSI is often used if the male partner has a very low sperm count, low motility or poor sperm quality. Once the fertilisation occurs, embryo transfer and freezing would follow next as it goes with IVF.
  2. Egg, Embryo and Sperm Freezing
    • Cryopreservation, also known as ‘freezing’ is done when there are surplus eggs or embryos than are needed in a cycle. Extra embryos can be stored for future attempts without the need to repeat the ovarian stimulation or egg retrieval.
    • In most cases, husbands which are unavailable at wife’s IVF or ICSI attempts, sperm which were frozen earlier can be used. It can reduce the cost and inconvenience throughout the 3-4 weeks length of procedure.
    • Sperm freezing is one of a choice available when a man is required to undergo other treatment which can impair the sperm production or reduce the sperm quality. A wife still can proceed with the IVF attempt using the husband’s frozen sperm stored earlier.
  3. Assisted Hatching
    • Embryo hatching occurs when an embryo emerges from its membrane or sheath before implanting in the uterus. Hatching of embryo may be assisted by thinning the membrane either with mechanical techniques, or with laser prior to embryo transfer. It helps to increase the chance of pregnancy for those who have failed several IVF attempts.
  4. Our other range of comprehensive services includes:
    • Semen Analysis
