Health Screening

Prevention Is Better Than Cure.

Living in a fast-paced world, we are constantly seeking the work-life balance where our health may take the back seat. At Prince Court Medical Centre, we believe in the importance of regular or annual checkups and preventive medicine to stay healthy.

Our health screening program is a one-day program with a wide range of services – from basic to comprehensive health screening packages according to your age. We are also able to customise the program to suit any specific need.

The screenings are conducted in an environment that are both comfortable and with privacy. Our clinicians will also help you understand your results as well as answer any questions or concerns that you may have for your ease of mind.

For more information, you may contact us directly at 03-2160 0888 or email us at [email protected].

    Hajj & Umrah Vaccinations

Every year, millions of Muslims are travelling to Mecca to perform Hajj and Umrah. They are coming from different regions with different age groups. As a result, different health problems may occur if they don't take preventative methods

*Vaccinations for Hajj and Umrah travellers:

    • Meningitis
    • Seasonal Influenza Vaccine
    • Pneumonia (Pneumococcal Vaccine)
    • Routine vaccinations

Routine vaccinations - Typhoid, Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis), Hepatitis A & Hepatitis B.

    * Visit the doctor early before travelling for advice and guidance.

Take the vaccines at least 2 weeks before travelling

    Travel Vaccines

When you travel abroad, you often need additional vaccinations to protect yourself from

which pose a threat in other parts of the world. Which vaccinations you need depends on several

    things:

WHERE you go - risks are not uniform all over a country, the risks for someone visiting the cities will be

quite different to the risks encountered visiting rural areas.

WHAT you do while you are there is even more important e.g. the risk of someone lying on a deckchair

is quite different to someone going out and eating on a street stall, bathing in local rivers, trekking, doing

    humanitarian work etc.

YOUR OWN HEALTH HISTORY is also important things like age, medications, allergies, pre-existing

    medical

Conditions etc make a difference. Other things may also be relevant; some people are more attractive to Mosquitoes than others.

TIME of the year - winter, spring, summer, autumn, rainy season etc.

Routine vaccinations - Typhoid, Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis), Hepatitis A & Hepatitis B.

We know how important it is to have a safe and healthy journey. So if you want to make sure you stay healthy on your trip, make an appointment to see our doctor at Prince Court Vaccination Centre to make sure you are getting the best possible health preparation. When it comes to overseas travel, prevention is far better than cure.
