How does liposuction procedure work?

The surgeon moves the cannula strategically to dislodge and suction fat cells, sculpting the area for a smooth, natural appearance. Liposuction techniques such as laser-assisted liposuction may also be employed for more precise fat removal.
- Completion and Aftercare: After achieving the desired results, the surgeon may place small drainage tubes to prevent fluid buildup before closing the incisions with sutures. Bandages and compression garments are applied to support the healing process and enhance the new contours.
- Recovery and Follow-Up: Most patients can return home the same day; however, rest and limited physical activity are crucial for the first few weeks. Compression garments help reduce swelling, while follow-up appointments ensure proper healing and address any concerns.
